Emily Martin (a.k.a. The Black Apple) creates these amazing paintings, and we re excited to have worked with her on a new line of notecards.

This one is part of her Flower Girls series.

She says about this portrait, “I have a soft spot in my heart for pansies and violas. Their petiteness, their ubiquity, their bright eyes… I imagine a girl named Pansy would be quite prim, but with a little mischievous je ne sais quoi.”
